Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dari's Dinners website and your membership of the Dari's Dinners weekly meal delivery service (“the Service”), operated by Dari's Dinners (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account, placing an order, or becoming a member, you (“the Member”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
1.1. Dari's Dinners provides chef-prepared meals, cooked with certified organic ingredients wherever available, delivered within London zones 1 & 2 on a weekly membership basis, currently twice per week (Monday and Thursday), portioned per person, as further described on our website.
1.1a. We buy certified organic ingredients wherever a certified version of that ingredient exists, and publish the brand, organic status and origin of every ingredient on our website. Our kitchen is not itself registered as an organic-certified operation, and we therefore do not describe the finished meals as organic.
1.2. Menus are subject to change on a weekly basis depending on seasonal availability. We do not guarantee that any specific dish will be available on a recurring basis.
1.3. We reserve the right to substitute ingredients or dishes where necessary due to availability, without liability for such substitution, provided any substitution does not introduce an allergen not previously disclosed for that dish.
1.3a. Ingredient substitutions: fresh ingredients depend on supplier availability. Where an ingredient is unavailable, we may substitute one of equal or better quality. Substitutions will not change the nature of the dish, and the allergen information provided with each delivery will reflect the ingredients actually used.
2. Membership, Billing and Cancellation
2.1. Membership is billed on a recurring basis as set out at checkout. By subscribing, you authorise us to take recurring payments until you cancel.
2.2. There is no minimum term. You may pause or cancel your membership at any time in your account. To take effect for a given delivery, changes must be made before 3pm on the Friday before your next Monday delivery, or before 3pm on the Tuesday before your next Thursday delivery; later changes apply from the following delivery.
2.3. Right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): Under UK law, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day cooling-off period on distance contracts, and we will honour cancellation and refund in full for any delivery cycle that has not yet entered preparation. That statutory right does not extend to goods that are perishable or made to order once preparation has begun, so once a delivery has been prepared for you that specific delivery is non-refundable. Your ongoing membership may still be cancelled at any time for future cycles.
2.3a. Skipped dinners and credit: if you remove a dinner, or reduce the number of people at a drop, before the cutoff for that delivery, we credit your account the full per-plate price of the dinners removed. Credit is shown to you as whole dinner days, is applied automatically to your following weekly payment, and carries forward if it is worth more than that payment. Adding dinners or extra people is charged at the same per-plate price on your next weekly payment, after any credit you hold. Changes never alter a week already in progress or already delivered.
2.3b. Credit on cancellation: if you cancel while holding unused credit, we refund the remaining credit to your original payment method, less a flat £30 administrative retention. Where the remaining credit is £30 or less, no refund is due and nothing further is charged to you.
2.4. We reserve the right to change membership pricing with reasonable notice (minimum 14 days) before it takes effect on your next billing cycle. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
3. Allergens and Dietary Requirements
3.1. Our Service is not suitable for you or anyone in your household with a food allergy or intolerance, including anyone at risk of a severe or anaphylactic reaction. Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens (celery, gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, milk, lupin, molluscs, mustard, sesame, peanuts, soybeans, sulphites and tree nuts) without segregated preparation areas. Every dish should therefore be treated as potentially containing any of these allergens, and we cannot guarantee any dish is free from any allergen. This notice is shown on our menu and sign-up pages before purchase.
3.2. If you, or anyone in your household who will eat the meals, has any allergy or intolerance, please do not subscribe. Before we deliver, you are asked to confirm that neither you nor anyone in your household who will eat these meals has any food allergy or intolerance — including any risk of a severe or anaphylactic reaction — and that you understand we cannot accommodate these. No meals are delivered until this confirmation has been given. If your household changes after you join, you must tell us straight away.
3.2a. If a delivery is held due to an unconfirmed allergen declaration, and payment has already been taken for that delivery, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, less a £30 accounting fee. If payment had not yet been taken, no charge will be made for the held delivery, and you will be notified by email.
3.3. We do not offer bespoke recipe modification, ingredient substitution, or allergen removal on a per-customer basis.
3.4. If you have questions about whether our Service is right for you, please contact us before subscribing.
3.5. We are not liable for any adverse reaction resulting from a Member's failure to review published allergen information, from ordering a dish despite disclosed allergens or precautionary warnings, or from undisclosed allergies where accurate information was made available.
4. Delivery, Storage and Handling
4.1. Meals are delivered chilled in bagasse containers, which are recyclable, biodegradable and compostable; the containers are oven and microwave safe for reheating. Meals must be refrigerated promptly upon receipt. Use-by dates and reheating instructions are provided with each delivery and must be followed.
4.2. We are not liable for any illness, spoilage, or adverse outcome arising from a Member's failure to store, handle, or reheat food in accordance with the instructions provided, or from food left unrefrigerated beyond a safe period after delivery.
4.3. If a delivery is delayed, missed, or arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours so we can investigate and offer a resolution (replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion).
4.4. You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive chilled deliveries at the agreed time/location, or for providing safe, insulated collection arrangements if no one is present.
5. Health Disclaimer
5.1. Dari's Dinners meals are not tailored medical or clinical nutrition and are not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have specific nutritional needs, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on our meals as part of a specific health plan.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
6.2. Subject to clause 6.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the total amount you paid for membership in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
6.3. Subject to clause 6.1, we are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, or loss arising from your own failure to follow storage, handling, or allergen-disclosure obligations under these Terms.
6.4. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
7. Data Protection
7.1. We process your personal data (including delivery address, dietary/allergen information, and payment details via our payment processor) in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights — including how to delete your data.
7.2. Allergen and health-related information you provide is treated as special category data and used solely to fulfil your order safely.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1. All content on this website, including recipes, photography, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Dari's Dinners and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, transport disruption, or supplier failure.
10. Changes to These Terms
10.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active members by email or account notice before taking effect.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
